Introducing the newest member of the From Seed to Spoon family, Ellie! She will be joining me on many of our videos I’m sure as we do lots of gardening together! 🙂
Hang out with Carrie in this video as she discusses the many ways to go about both preventing squash vine borers and treating your squash plants once you have an issue.

Hey everybody. It’s Carrie with seed to spoon. So I know it’s been a little bit since I’ve been on here. It’s probably been a little over a week, but I wanted to make a quick video just to show you all where I’ve been.
Well, this is the surprise right here. Say hello? so for those of you who didn’t know, I was pregnant and actually was 40 weeks pregnant. Last Monday when I had her, this is miss Eleanor. She goes by Ellie. You’ll be seeing her a lot in the videos coming up. I’m sure. So she’s gonna be helping me out in the garden a lot and doing lots of yard work.
Aren’t. So we’re gonna be doing lots of videos together here in inside. Probably talking a lot of things because it is too hot for her out there. It is supposed to be 111 tomorrow out there, like the actual temperature, which is wow. Like that’s unheard of for around here. So it is very hot out there. So our garden, we’re trying to keep up with it, trying to do as much as we can.
Just ease it through these temperatures that we’ve been getting, because it is really, really hot out there. And if you are in our area too, we’re in central Oklahoma. Um, but if you are here and or somewhere else, that’s struggling with a lot of temperature changes, make sure you check out the videos. I made a couple of videos, um, a few weeks ago all about how to handle.
The hot temperatures and different things that you can do to help ease your plants through it. And we’ve definitely been doing a lot of those things and it’s been helping a lot. I think a lot of our plants would have definitely died already if we hadn’t have been like doing just simple things like mulching and I mean, just very simple things that you can.
Well, I just wanted to make a very quick video just explaining where I’ve been and introducing you to the sweetest little baby here. I’m sure you guys will be seeing a lot more of her and more of me now, now that I am back. And if you guys have any questions at all about your garden or anything like that, feel free to leave.
’em in the comment section and I will get back with you and I’ll make some more videos.
