“How to Start Growing Food” Presentation
Learn how you can start growing your own food using our free mobile app! Dale will be demonstrating how our app helps you grow nearly 100 different fruit, herbs, and vegetables in your own backyard. He will also talk about how gardening helps him with anxiety and depression.
Friday: 6 pm – 7 pm

“Growing & Cooking with Plants” Presentation
Dale and Carrie will be demonstrating how to prepare a meal from the garden on the cooking stage. They’re going to show you how you can make a whole chicken in the instant pot in 30 minutes, make your own broth from that chicken, use that broth to make rice, and then add in vegetables and herbs from the garden to create a wonderful, healthy, and tasty stir fry!
Friday: 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm
We will also be hosting a variety of workshops at our booth with different guest speakers!

1 pm – 2 pm: Bill Farris, owner of Prairie Wind Nursery, will be discussing native plants that you can grow for your landscape in Oklahoma.
4 pm – 5 pm: Dale & Bill Farris, owner of Prairie Wind Nursery, will be discussing how to grow 10 different herbs and how you can use them in the kitchen or around the home!
Saturday:
12 pm – 1 pm: Dale & Carrie will be discussing how to use the plants that you grow in the kitchen and will be sharing simply strategies and tips for feeding your family on a budget.
1:30 pm – 2:30 pm: Lori Coats, from My Raggedy Herbs, will be discussing preserving and using herbs in the kitchen.
4 pm – 5 pm: Dale & Bill Farris, owner of Prairie Wind Nursery, will be discussing how to grow 10 different herbs and how you can use them in the kitchen or around the home!
6 pm – 7 pm: Bill Farris, owner of Prairie Wind Nursery, will be discussing native plants for Oklahoma.
