We’ve eaten so many more whole chickens saving us so much money since buying our Instant Pot! It used to be such a hassle to make whole chickens, but now it is super-simple and speedy with the Instant Pot. Imagine how convenient it is going from a raw whole chicken to dinner-ready in around 40 minutes… amazing! You can also use the leftover chicken scraps to make your own broth!

Ingredients
- olive oil for sauteing
- 1 whole chicken
- 1/2 cup chicken broth (or water)
- italian seasoning sprinkle over chicken
- garlic sprinkle over chicken
- Salt sprinkle over chicken

Instructions
- Set instant pot to 'saute' mode with olive oil covering the bottom.
- Sprinkle desired spices over whole chicken.
- Lightly brown each side of the chicken approximately 2 minutes while on saute mode.
- Add in chicken broth (or water) to pot. Set instant pot to 25 minutes manual or poultry setting.
- After it finishes cooking, let sit for an additional 10-15 minutes to soak up all the excess juices and make for a moist chicken.
- It is important to test the internal temperature of your chicken prior to eating. If it is less than 165F, cook for additional time until it reaches at least 165F.
- Enjoy your dinner!
- Be sure to save those scraps and bones from the whole chicken to make super easy and healthy broth as well!
