Set instant pot to ‘saute’ mode with olive oil covering the bottom.
Sprinkle desired spices over whole chicken.
Lightly brown each side of the chicken approximately 2 minutes while on saute mode.
Add in chicken broth (or water) to pot. Set instant pot to 25 minutes manual or poultry setting.
After it finishes cooking, let sit for an additional 10-15 minutes to soak up all the excess juices and make for a moist chicken.
It is important to test the internal temperature of your chicken prior to eating. If it is less than 165F, cook for additional time until it reaches at least 165F.
